Why the Sources Differ
North Carolina treats much basic arrest and booking information as public, but no single database answers every question. The Guilford County Sheriff's Office creates county booking records and runs the jail roster. North Carolina Adult Correction covers people in state prison, probation, or parole. Courts hold the case history and disposition after booking, while records requests reach material that is not shown in a live portal. We organize those official paths and explain their limits. We do not copy or host booking-photo galleries.
What the Reference Covers
The content separates fresh bookings, present custody, released records, and later court outcomes.

Limits of Our Role
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a North Carolina sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, police department, or other government agency.
